Payment Terms and Policies for Video/Photo Production
Payment Schedule:
A 50% deposit of the total project cost is required to secure the booking and reserve the production date.
The remaining 50% of the total project cost must be paid in full upon project shoot day or on specific date provided.
Payment Methods:
We accept payments via invoice, credit cards, bank transfers, checks, and cash.
Late Payments:
Payments not received within the specified a grace period, after the due date will be considered late.
A late fee of 10% will be applied to outstanding balances for every day past the due date.
Cancellations:
In case of client-initiated cancellations, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
If the cancellation is made within 3 days of the scheduled shoot date, the client is responsible for the full project cost.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the shoot due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, equipment failure). In such cases, we will work with the client to reschedule the shoot at no additional cost.
Additional Expenses:
Any additional expenses incurred during the production, such as travel, accommodation, or equipment rentals, will be billed separately and are due upon receipt of the invoice.
Changes to Scope of Work:
Any changes or additions to the originally agreed-upon scope of work may result in additional charges. These charges will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties before implementation.
Ownership and Usage Rights:
The client will receive full usage and ownership rights of the final deliverables upon full payment.
We reserve the right to use the produced content for promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Client Approval:
The client has the right to request revisions or edits to the deliverables within 5 business days of receiving them. Additional fees may apply for revisions outside of this timeframe.
Dispute Resolution:
In the event of a dispute related to payments or the project, both parties agree to engage in good-faith negotiations to resolve the issue. If necessary, mediation or legal action may be pursued as a last resort.
Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina Jurisdiction.
Entire Agreement:
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, or agreements, whether written or oral.
By implementing these payment terms and policies, you can help ensure a smooth and transparent financial process for your video/photo production projects. It's essential to have a written contract or agreement that both parties sign to formalize these terms and protect the interests of all parties involved. Consulting with a legal professional to customize these terms to your specific needs is also advisable.
